Super easy to use. Great customer service and fast shipping. Would absolutely use this product again!!
Alan Q.
These work great! They really make it easy to build a ground level deck. The ground doesn't have to be perfectly level it's easy to level the deck frame with 4"x4" blocks notched out. Very solid.
John M.
Very nice product . Made my deck project super easy. Buy this , you will be glad you did

Tuffblock is the best choice for lower decking. I love to use this product, it works just as described.
Darrel L.
These are the greatest thing since sliced bread!!
I can't express how great these blocks are. Using the Tuffblocks was by far the best decision I made when deciding what support system to use for my 8'x15' shed deck floor. It was so easy to move all the blocks I needed with one arm full and not have to deal with either pouring concrete footings or try to level solid blocking below my 4x4 posts. These blocks are vary versatile and can even interlock and stack if needed.
Neia H.
We used TuffBlocks as the base for two platforms that we've built our huge sheds on. Much easier than a bunch of heavy cement blocks (built by a couple of ladies)! So far they're holding up great.
12'x16' platform with a 12' high shed and an 8'x24' platform with an 16'x16' outbuilding and connected 8'x8' covered deck.
We found out about TuffBlocks from a Matt Risinger shed build on YouTube.

Tree removal and tear out of pavers began in the Summer of 2023 after of which I began the removal of numerous invasive roots from a nearby oak tree. Once the area was cleared, I removed about 20 yards of soil, rebuilt the 2 sump pump basins and brought in 3 tons of crushed limestone.
Construction of the deck began late Dec 2023. Work was put off several times due the weather, injury, re-orders and other commitments. Because we were limited to 2x4 joists, I ended up purchasing 6 boxes of TuffBlock to insure proper spacing and load distribution. All wood was pressure treated (ground contact). Butyl Deck Tape was applied to all joist before decking went down.
It was a lot of work but I am happy it’s done! The deck will get stained in 3 months.

There's nothing bad I can say about them. Super light weight, strong, shallow, and can be modified to fit whatever application you need them for. I'd use them for my next project.
Matt
Perfect for what I wanted. Shallow and super strong and light. You can modify it with an oscillating saw to fit your doubled 2x’s.
william
Universal footer for decks and outbuilding structures
Dan
Way to much cost
Product is ok
Carlos S.
First time using this product and so far so good. It’s easy to install
Tom W.
Very easy to use to level the floor. Didn’t have to wait for cement to set up and cut posts. Had the floor finished and ready to build in a few hours
Brooks H.
Continue to use Tuff blocks. The ease of use has been great. I would like it better for my use if there were options for the 2" T to be directed both ways. Instead of one side 1" and one side 2". Perhaps that could be done in future productions.
karen w.
I haven’t used them yet as it is still winter but it looks like they are actually 4x4” so I will have to get lumber milled to fit them. I was hoping to use pressure treated 4x4’s but they aren’t the full size so they won’t fit.
Brooks H.
Have ordered repeatedly. Have used them in a large foundational support system for a barn refurbishment. Hopefully they stand the test of time. Very easy to use and I love the light weight.
Michael Z.
I purchased two 24 packs during a winter sale. Will not attempt a deck until Spring. I like the videos and possibilities and will do a ground deck near some large bur Oaks and cannot disturb the root zone. I pray for the best.
Beau K.
I use Tuff Blocks on every shed I build for my shed business!
William B.
I'm sorry Oliver but the project has been delayed and I haven't used the blocks yet. I will let you know when it happens but they look to be just what I need.
Thanks

Using in probably would be considered unconventional, but secured four 4x4 corner posts on a concrete pad with Simpson plates, then for the other 7 posts supporting the 10x12 greenhouse structure, used TuffBlocks. Still under construction but so Sat so good. Will try to submit the finished project, but TuffBlocks may not be visible by then. TuffBlocks made it super easy to set the inner posts. Was initially planning to put a floor in and us TuffBlocks for floor joists, but now planning on a gravel base inside the greenhouse so no worries when watering plants, or critters building a home under the floor.
Christopher T.
With little construction experience, I was able to manage building a 32'x32' deck in a matter of days (and some help from a kind neighbor). It made leveling much easier and the proper placement was easy to adjust as the build continued. Much more manageable than concrete blocks.
Ronnie D.
I ordered 6 of these from the website and they were delivered quickly. They seem to be very well made and were boxed securely. I have not had time to start the project yet but test fitted them with a true 4x4 post I had rough cut out of cedar and they fit like a glove.
Brooks H.
I love that there lightweight and strong enough to avoid the heavy lifting of cement block.
Donald T.
I used tuff blocks for a 12’x12’ floating deck I secured the blocks by tamping paver base then leveling and laying 2”x8” joists Once the frame was screwed in I covered with decking. So easy no real digging and no concrete. The weight of the deck on the secured tuff blocks resulted in a stable level deck. Will definitely use tuff blocks in any future deck plans. What a time and labor saver!
Joseph D.
I used TuffBlocks for a low profile deck to extend an existing porch with sleeper joist framing. Still in progress.
Gerrit V.
I have not started my new project, but will send some progress photos when i start and the completed project.
Michele S.
This is a great product! We built a floating deck and found the blocks sturdy & so easy to use
Tom D.
Solid floating one step deck foundation.
Jeff
Built a low cedar deck with these and it works great! Whisk I could attach photos but don’t hesitate, great product.
Joe S.
I use tuff blocks almost exclusively for building sheds on site. They're faster, lighter and so much easier to work with than cement blocks or pier blocks. I can level a shed floor frame in 1/3 of the time and with 10% of the effort that it takes with cement blocks.
Joe K.
Could not dig post and so simple and inexpensive, thanks
Ronald
Excellent product. Easy to use.
Rebekah L.
These are great support blocks. I used them to support an outer wall of a small sunroom that was never properly supported in the original construction.
The project is all buttoned up, so no meanful pic. I appreciate the options TuffBlocks offer in using various sizes of dimension lumber. Will definitely use these blocks again.
Terrie C.
I bought these for my husband as he is building a deck in our backyard. He previously used the cement blocks. They were heavy and bulky. The Tuff blocks are light and easy to handle. I was able to help him with the foundation using the blocks. Great engineering idea. I highly recommend them.
Anthony M.
First time User of this product... It sure saves a lot of time from digging post holes and gives you flexibility on where you need to set your post.. We had the layout of the entire deck done pretty much the first day and half of the second day... I would highly Recommend this product... It was also the first time that my builder had used the product. And he thought it was pretty awesome.
Edward A.
So much easier when building on uneven concrete.
Michael C.
Smooth and easy to set up and Level the deck. I am happy with the purchase.
Michael G.
I decided to use Tuffblocks to build a 10 X 16 pressure treated deck and a 60 inch X 48 foot walkway on one side of our house. I was offered free concrete blocks to support the deck by a neighbor . I turned them down as I was not going to move heavy blocks around my yard. Tuffblocks were the answer. They are light, strong and simple to level in place. Even my neighbors were amazed as they had never seen them. So get onboard, start your next build with with Tuffblocks.
Jane H.
TouchBlocks were the perfect solution for putting a low-profile deck floor under my pergola. Since I had to do the project unassisted as a 70-year-old woman, I don't know how I could have completed it without them.
Marijane S.
Works as well as the concrete ones I have used before. Much lighter and easier to use. Seems as if they will hold up well.
Jeff G.
Super easy to use so much nicer than the concrete ones which are heavy. Would highly recommend these.
paul h.
I bought 16 of these for a floating deck at a condo I own. It was very easy to level them out - I actually dug down a couple of inches then used paver base underneath to level them, so that I kept the deck low to the ground. Much better than the old cement block foundations!
Eric V.
These worked well. I really like that they are much shorter than the concrete version, this made it possible to use them in my latest project.
Martin M.
The process of cutting and treating each 4x4 post to hold the joist is time consuming. It's a lot easier to use structural screws and Simpson Strong Tie brackets to join the joist to the side of the 4x4 post. Plenty strong enough and much faster.
Patrick O.
I built a 10x20 low profile deck using the deck blocks and it turned out really nice! Made it super easy to line up the boards and it feels very strong and sturdy. Would buy again.
David R.
The person who built the deck at the house before us did not know what he was doing and all the posts are lifting out of the ground and the deck is bowing. I saw the advertisement for the tuff block and figured I'd try it. I ended up cutting all the posts that needed to be replaced and used the tuff block to install the new posts. The deck is now level and looks good!
Timothy H.
Built a floating deck with these. They are lightweight but sturdy. I've built decks with cement pier blocks, never again. The cement pier blocks break/crumble and weigh 40 pounds each. So far these deck blocks seem overall more sturdy (definitely at the top with the grooves) and are steady as a rock under the deck.
John
Worked great, made life a lot easier for me
Michael H.
Product worked as described. Not happy with limited 30 day return on unopened product.
Joey
Look s like exactly what I need. Will know more when I start project
Jeff
These things work awesome
David M.
Love the ease of building with these tuff blocks over the top of a patio. The patio slopes away from the house so each joist was ripped to accommodate the slope. Worked great. It was my first time using tuff blocks, but if the need arises I’ll definitely be using them again!
Brandon B.
I have little experience building decks, and this product made my experience go smooth. The construction of the product felt extremely well built, and I trust it to do the job. Also, thank you for the YouTube vids, they gave my project direction and gave me the answers I needed.
Jamie K.
Worked well easy easy to use. Loved that we didn’t have to lift heavy brick patio blocks. Worked so much better. Only thing is I bought to many so be careful with your planning.
Highly recommend
Michael
Very happy with the product! Extremely easy to work with! More costly than going with bricks or conventional deck blocks, but worth it for the ease-of-use / lightweight and portability. Very easy for assembling an on-grade deck.
Shaun A.
Without the benefit of time, this is a great product. Perfect for a low slope roof deck, light weight, impervious to weather decay, elevates wood structure from wet surface, allows clearance for rain and debris run off, and air circulation. Now for the test of time.
keith b.
These blocks are amazing. It’s so easy to level your surface because you have a base to measure from. Once I leveled 4 corners, all measurements were coming out the same to let me know I was level. Awesome product
Gerrit V.
Had a thick old concrete pad about 14 inches and no way to remove it, so decided to build a floating deck on top of it.
Tuffblocks worked really well as i didn't want to have a high deck, the ground is already sloping a lot from one end to the other.
It's solid as a rock, my 1st deck project.
Iain K.
Keep finding new ways to use tuffblocks. Shored up a garden shed. Using for floating deck. Using under garden bed to keep posts from rotting. So many uses on a large property
Renato P.
Best decision taken for building my floating deck. The blocks allowed me to build a very low profile deck and they are very easy to use and lightweight.
For sure will use it again on my next deck project.
Brandon
This product was everything I wanted it to be. I definitely recommend these.
Ann F.
My back porch collapse..and, the Tuff blocks helped us complete the repair in a matter of hours!! These are as easy to use as they are brilliant!!
RICHARD N.
We have not employed them fully, but the service and delivery were excellent. The product is exactly what we expected and we look forward to completing our project using our Tuffblocks!
joseph b.
These blocks greatly simplified building my low deck over existing concrete slab that was very unlevel.
Will highly recommend to friends.
William D.
My order was delivered complete and timely. The blocks were easy to work with and the deck has a very solid feel when walking on it. Very satisfied with the product
Jason C.
Time saver and easy to use.
Richard Z.
Used the product for foundation on a lawn shed and it worked wonderfully. Would recommend it to others.

Dan H.
So far I've built a kayak and an outdoor kitchen. These really cut the time down and make projects enjoyable.
Paula D.
These were superb easy to work with and won't breakdown like the old pier blocks.
Charles Y.
Really quite happy with these! I have building decks and such for other people for about 15 years, always digging or concrete blocks. My beautiful wife wanted us to make our backyard more friendly for entertainment, and we have lots of big pine trees, a sprinkler system, gas and data lines all over, so I tried these out. Not done with the full project yet but easy to use, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them on a project for a customer.
Robbie K.
I'm building a backyard shed to replace one that just about fell down under its own weight.
Platform is ground level, 12 feet wide, 16 feet long (shed will be 12x12 with a 4 foot front "porch". I used 54 TuffBlocks, topped by Fortress Steel Framing. Super easy....I paid close attention to leveling the first beam, and after that it was only a matter of leveling the rock underneath. Built this split between a Saturday afternoon and most of a Sunday. I'll use them again if the need arises!
Steve G.
I originally purchased the 24 pack for a shed build. I bought more than I needed for the shed, thinking I could use them for other applications. I recently acquired a king size bed that was missing the center supports, so I used 3 Tuff Blocks with some 4x4 posts to serve as the center supports. Problem solved!
Scott M.
Pretty easy to work with.
Danielle P.
Before picture. Love Tuff Block. So much easier than digging holes.
Danielle P.
So easy to use and very sturdy. Made our floating deck look amazing and ease free, no digging holes, just leveled with gravel. And our dog loves the new deck!
Eric W.
Lightweight and sturdy. A pleasure to build with.
Jae J.
Okay I'll write a review, but you're probably not going to believe me! I'm a small-sized 65 year old retired elementary teacher (female) with a lot of determination. Using TuffBlocks, I framed and finished a 12' x 16' floating deck in a day by MYSELF! TuffBlocks made it SO easy to space & level my deck boards. Building a deck has NEVER been easier! And... the finished deck is beautiful! I wish I could have uploaded 2 photos so you could see the finished deck!! Feelin' Good... Like I Should...
Bill
Simple and easy to use for your deck project

Making life easier to build a floating deck
Cesar A.
I will never ever go back to cinder block to make a deck… once you go Tuffblock you’ll never abandon it! I’m a fan now.
Carl A.
Haven't started my project yet but will be glad to share photos of it once I do.
Robert E.
Very easy to work with and strong.
Used them to support posts on a outdoor work table for my wife when she does her planting pots.
Will definitely buy and use them again.
Thanks
Steven B.
So far I’ve been very pleased with the ability to get them set in and balanced. This is a project that I’m doing all on my own so I can shoot you some more pictures if you would like when I am done
But all in all, I would definitely recommend!
As a matter fact, others have asked where I got them from!
Troy M.
Great for unlevel ground where you you don’t want to dig. Much better than concrete block type.
Troy M.
Real nice to use on uneven ground. Light sturdy and offers a lot of flexibility in leveling your deck. Totally recommend!
jeff
Haven’t used yet but seem good quality and very adjustable for different lumber
Matt H.
They worked great and saved me from having to dig 6-8 post holes.
I went for 2 sets of eight blocks for this floating platform. It was probably overkill- but now it doesn't shake or bounce at all.
Bruce C.
As a professional contractor, these things are great. Sturdy, lightweight and great for ground level decks. I especially like that they accept 4x4 and 2x cleanly. No more using the old concrete deck blocks.
